A4 - Waste Management and Circular Economy Training
As Sultanbeyli Sabiha Gökçen Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, we successfully carried out our Environmental and Sustainability Activities within the scope of Activity 4: "A4 - Waste Management and Circular Economy Training (Local)" of our Erasmus+ project "Technology for Future: Digital Robotics Applications."
As part of this activity, we organized a series of events aimed at raising environmental awareness among participants.
The first part of the programme featured a seminar titled "Zero Waste and Environmental Sustainability", delivered by Environmental Engineer Uğur Yazıcı. The seminar focused on sustainable living, recycling practices, and the importance of effective waste management.
On the second day, participants visited the Sultanbeyli Municipality Compost Facility, where they learned about the facility's operating principles and its contributions to environmental sustainability. Following the visit, our students and project participants took part in a forest clean-up activity in a local woodland area within our district.
The programme, which aimed to strengthen environmental responsibility through hands-on learning experiences, concluded with a meal offered to the participants.
We will continue working towards a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.
